Dr. Mazza enjoys fitness and exercising. You will often find him at the various classes at the YMCA. He also loves to fly his plane, travel, and spend time with his family.
In Eric’s free time, he loves spending quality time with his wife and four children. Eric enjoys being outside - whether that is tubing on the lake, hiking mountains, or swimming in the ocean. Eric is a follower of Jesus.
Beth enjoys hosting informal get-togethers on the weekends or to make any day an occasion to celebrate. She credits her love of cooking and gardening to the memory of Southern Mom and Aunts. Beth and her husband, Jeff, also enjoy boating and spending time with family and friends on the lake.
In his free time, Tim is an avid runner and enjoys the natural resources that Chattanooga and the surrounding area offers. He and his wife Nikki, reside on the river with their dog, Maisy.

During that time he was introduced to the physician assistant career and the opportunity it allows for helping others. This led him to make a decision with the support of his wife to go back to school and change careers. He earned his physician assistant degree from Milligan University and since then has been thrilled to have the opportunity to get to work with his patients in an effort to better understand and improve their health.
Josh grew up camping in and exploring the forests of East Tennessee. He and his wife, Aftin, are mountain bike and whitewater enthusiasts that love to spend their weekends on local trails or rivers.
Stacy always dreamed of working in healthcare and her career began as a Registered Nurse working in a variety of settings including Intensive Care step-down unit, Trauma ICU, Hospice, and eventually the Emergency Room. Her commitment to patient care and furthering her education led her to complete a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Southern Adventist University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, she gained valuable experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, and men’s health before bringing her talents and skill to Direct Primary Care Associates. Stacy is a lifelong Cleveland resident. She is happily married to her husband Eric and they have two daughters, Emery and Eden.
It was our honor to have Mary as our first full-time employee, and she states, “My passion is to actually care for the patient not just treat their illnesses. Caring is a part of the healing process for so many patients, sometimes lending an ear is better than any prescription. I am so excited to be a part of this ever-growing way of healthcare.”
Mary was born and raised in Polk County and has called Cleveland home for the past 24 years. She and her husband Dale have two wonderful boys, Jordan and Clayton. In her spare time, she loves to cook, spend time with her family, and play with fur babies Lulu and Coco.
In her free time, Neyland enjoys spending time with her husband Damon, and their daughter Skyler, and their families. Together, they enjoy being outdoors enjoying nature: the mountain, the river, and all their hometown of Tellico Plains as to offer. It’s also nice to get away, now and then, and she also enjoys traveling and looking forward to new adventures !
Lizbet and her husband, Michael, have two beautiful little girls. She enjoys spending time with her large family, grilling, and spending time outdoors. When she finds quiet time, she loves to look for new ideas and crafts on Pinterest.
Michelle calls Bradley County home, but previously resided in Nashville. In her free time, she likes spending time outside, whether that is camping, swimming, or attending activities in the community. Michelle enjoys spending time with her talented daughter who plays the piano.
Cathy Thompson Peterson
Cathy assists with “all things financial” and helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. “It is a privilege to be a part of a team of individuals whom I greatly admire and who are dedicated to providing the best care for their patients.”
Cathy loves spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys kayaking, hiking, and dancing.
